Community Plan5

fpc map 2

The Parish Council's vision for Formby is that it will continue to be a popular, pleasant and proserous place to live.  We want to use this website to consult with local people and help make this vision a reality.

Key to this will be our joint Neighbourhood Plan with Little Altcar Council.  This is prepared by the local community and considers local issues e.g. in determining where new homes, shops and other developments should be, what buildings should look like and plans for open spaces.  Get involved and make an important contribution towards the town's future.

The Work We Do pages provide more detailed information about the projects.

Our Community Fund continues to support a number of good causes including faith groups and youth activities.  You can also access information about Financial Matters and the Annual Audit Return that the Council is required to complete by law.  In addition you can view profiles on each local parish councillor.

To keep up-to-date about what's happening check out our Latest News pages that have, amongst other things, information about local consultations e.g. including those by Sefton Council and the Environmental Agency.  Our Formby pages outline why the area is such a great place to live, work and visit.  Downloads contain details of forthcoming meetings, minutes of meetings of previous meetings, back issues of our local Newsletter and other information.

Formby is entering an exiting phase of development.  We want local people to get involved and help us shape how the area is going to look during the next 15 years.  To make sure your voice is heard use this website to look out for details of our forthcoming meetings and consultation questionaires or get in touch via email This email address is being protected from spambots.
